Gabrielle Desrochers '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was seven years old and I love the game more each year that I play.

I want to get a strong education and to have fun and work hard playing softball in college.  I am very coachable because I take criticism well as an opportunity to improve my game.  When my club coach suggested that I become a slap hitter because of my speed, I took his advice and worked to become an effective slap hitter.  I am very competitive and hard working.  When mistakes are made, by myself or my teammates, I am able to shake it off and focus on making the next play better. I try my best to be a good teammate by always giving my best effort and by lifting up my teammates when they have a tough day. 

I do my best to get good grades and I volunteer my time through the Rotary club at school and through my town's recreation department. I am also part of my high school's LEADership Program and will be a 2016 volleyball co-captain.  I look forward to finding my best college match.
