Kendall Franklin '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Kendall Franklin. I am currently a Freshman at Manchester Essex Regional High School in Manchester By The Sea, Massachusetts (class of 2028). My goal is to play varsity level softball throughout my four high school years and ultimately play at the collegiate level. 

I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old. Throughout all of the years, especially as I have gotten older, coaches have always told me I am a very coachable athlete, and if I put my mind to something, the goal will be accomplished. I have been playing softball for my town ever since I was old enough to join, and began to play at the club level starting 12U. I currently play competitive softball with Rage Fastpitch, practicing and training all year round. I love being behind the plate and continuing to grow as I catch for faster pitchers. I am able to recognize the importance of focus on the field and positive communication throughout the game. When it comes to academics, I currently take all honors classes. Eventually, I hope to get into a school with high academics. I strive to find a school where I am able to play softball at a high level and advance my knowledge while most likely pursuing a degree in the medical field. I am a diverse athlete, currently playing two sports, (softball and field hockey), and can adapt to playing multiple positions on the field. I enjoy playing a positive role on each team I play for and hope to continue to make an impact as I get older.
