Lucy Colarusso So...Personal Statement
I'm first and foremost a fan of the game of softball. In the words of Sue Enquist, I "respect the game" and try my best to always play at the highest level possible. I'm so fortunate to have been coached by some of the best programs in the northeast. I've been a member of Raiders Softball since I was 13 which has given me the opportunity to work with Lisa McGloin and her fantastic staff of college level player/coaches. I'm also a Varsity Program Member at Planet Fastpitch working with Denise Davis and Kate Roberts. At Needham High School, Needham MA, I am the Varsity starting catcher/ss and have been since my freshman year. My college goals are to continue my education at an institution that is both challenging and the right fit for me. I want to become the best person I can be and expand these experiences by playing ball at the collegiate level.
