Personal Statement

I am a 5'8" right handed pitcher from Pittsfield, Massachusetts and will graduate in Taconic High School's class of 2017. I have started for the Taconic Lady Braves varsity softball team for over a year now, for I had some varsity exposure my freshman year while I primarily started for the junior varsity team. I have also played for the Berkshire Force, a summer travel team, for the past eight years. I have a 3.9 GPA and am a member of the National Honor Society.

I am looking for a school that not only has a great balance between the classroom and softball field, but also has a great atmosphere both in and outside of the school. I would like to pursue a career in business - accounting in particular. Ideally, I am interested in schools around Boston that have prestigious business programs. I am interested in Catholic schools, but am willing to choose otherwise if other needs are met.
