Hi, my name is Miranda Voller, I am currently a senior at Mount Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown, Massachusetts. I'm captain of my soccer team which I have been playing on since my freshman year at Mount Greylock. At Mount Greylock, we have an integrated middle school, meaning as a 7th or 8th grader, you are allowed to be on a varsity high school sport. I joined the varsity softball team my 8th grade year as a first baseman and have loved the sport with a competitive passion ever since. I will be entering my senior softball year as captain. I have been on the All-Star team and recognized as All-Eagle and All-Transcript throughout my high-school career. I not only play during my high school season but I served as a captain on two teams every summer. Since my freshman year, I have participated in two Babe Ruth World Series (2013 and 2014), I have received the Golden Glove Award (All-Defensive Team Award) as a third baseman of 2013 and a Player of the Game Award this year, as a center fielder. Just recently, I completed the Massachusetts Student Trooper Program, which is a rigorous one-week camp that gives you first-hand experience with criminal justice and teaches you the benefits of obtaining discipline. As for about myself, I am a fun, outgoing person who loves to make new friends. I have always stood out as a leader in all sorts of environments, and I have taught at leadership conferences and won awards for just doing what I felt was right. I have always believed in myself and those around me. Having a positive attitude and sharing the love of God has always had the best effect for everyone around me and I will continue to do so throughout my college experiences.
