Izamar Oberholtzer '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is  Izamar Oberholtzer, I’m an 9th grade student athlete at Walled Lake Western High School. My passion for softball began at the age of 10 and progressively increased over the years. My primary position is shortstop.

          I constantly strive to be the best version of myself, both on and off the field. I make goals for myself and don't give up until I achieve them, even if it means going to bed extremely late. I will always put the right amount of work in for the day. I've developed into a really disciplined player over the years. I consider myself to be a leader, a diligent worker, and someone who always strives to exceed my expectations as well as others. I work well with a team and coaches. 

          I constantly strive to improve, and pay attention to the advice from my coaches. I am aware that playing collegiate softball is a significant time commitment, and I will make every effort to balance my academic and athletic obligations.  

 I am an Honor Roll student. I play basketball, and run track and field, in addition to softball. My primary goal is to excel academically and athletically while playing collegiate softball.
