Softball has been a part of my life since a young age. I can't imagine not playing. As I got older the more I started to look at the game in a competitive light. I see myself as a very competitive person and I always want to be the best at everything I do. When faced against someone better than me I feel motivated to get better.

Being a pitcher has been one of the most challenging things in my life. As a child I wanted to quit. There was too much work, too much pressure. Overtime I learned to love these things. Now I enjoy going to pitching sessions and being able to work what I learned into my pitching. I love to see myself improving and the work I have to put in. I am so much better under pressure thanks to all those years on the mound. When faced with a stressful situation I am able to handle it calmly, both on and off the field.

To be able to continue playing softball at a higher level has been a dream to me since a young age. I am willing to put the work needed into getting better. Each day I strive to improve, and I will continue to push myself so I can be the best player possible.
