Mariana Williams '28 Recruiting Profile

Softball has been a big part of who I am since I was in Little League!  I started playing travel ball when I was 8 and love the friendships and life skills softball has taught me.  I love competing at the highest level.  I enjoy working hard whether early morning or late night practices, working out to develop my strength and conditioning.  I have attended the Tommie Walker Fielding club for years.  I pitch with my pitching coach, dad, and get as many reps as I can at practices and in my cage in our backyard.  I do the same with hitting.  I will go out in our cage and get my reps in at least every other day.  I consider myself an excellent pitcher, fielder and hitter.  I think my strengths are also that I am a team player and am very versatile.  I can do many things when I am up to bat based on the situation.  I can bunt very well, but also crush the ball for extra bases.  My pitching keeps batters off balance and I rarely walk batters.  I hope you will consider me when looking at your future team needs.  I work very hard and bring a team first attitude with hustle and maximum effort.  I believe I will be an asset to any program that gives me the opportunity to prove myself at the highest levels.
