Kyra Newman '20 Recruiting Profile

I’m Kyra Newman. I am a shortstop/second base/utility softball player from Oak Park, Michigan. I have been playing softball for over seven years and over 15 seasons. I have never loved playing a sport more than I love playing softball. I have met so many lifelong friends and coaches who have made a huge impact on my life. I have travelled around to tournaments and games playing the sport that I love as well. I can’t imagine not being involved with softball for the rest of my days. I have learned so much about myself through playing and I continue to improve and learn every day.
