Taylor Sanborn '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Taylor Sanborn I am a sophomore at Midland High School in Midland, Michigan and I am a second year varsity softball team member. I am involved in many different programs and organizations throughout my school and community. For example, I currently serve as the Sophomore class president on my school's student council, I am also a member of my church's youth group, and I also just recently graduated from Midland County Youth Leadership. This is a highly thought of leadership program in the Mid-Michigan area. Leadership is a very important part of my life and it influences many other aspects of who I am.  Developing my leadership skills has helped me become a better person overall, and taught me to be more patient and openminded. I also take these skills onto the field with me,I am a very driven and hardworking individual. I strive to do my best in everything I do, while helping and encouraging others as well. With that, school have and always will come first for me, and I am looking for a school with a strong science and math department because academics will ultimately take you farther in life than any sport. But, I truly love being a part of a team and getting to build relationships and constantly learning more about myself as a person and a leader as well, while also learning from others . I believe that college is softball is the best possible way to fuel all my passions into one.
