Laken Salgat '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2013 graduate of Standish-Sterling Central. I have 3.5 GPA and I take honor classes. Softball has been my passion since I can remember. I have played softball since I was little, I started travel during 6th grade and I have kept with it ever since. I have been on Standish-Sterling's varsity softball team since my freshmen year. I have hit seven home-runs in the time being. My dream is to play college softball and it has been my dream since I was young. I am a hard working, dedicated player. I am ready to commit myself to the college level and I am ready to work hard. I have earned first team all conference my freshmen year, along with honorable mention, academic all state and athlete of the year for my third year in a row from 2009-2012. I have what it takes to play college softball, give me the chance and I will prove it. I am open to all options and I am ready to push myself to the best I can be. Thanks and hope to hear from you!
