Personal Statement

My name is Payton Hewitt, I started my softball career when I was small playing t-ball then finding my way to recreational softball at around 8 years old. Then I moved to my first travel team, it was an exciting but scary transition one that I can't imagine my life without. Softball has become my life, always training and practicing to get better in all aspects of the game. It is a lifestyle for me I have always dreamed of playing in college and I know what it will take, making sacrifices and missing out on things but I am ready. I am ready to do what it takes to go far in this game because it is so important to me in more ways than could ever be explained in words.
