Maria Torp '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello.  My name is Maria Torp and I am a Junior at Jefferson High School in Bloomington, Minnesota, graduating in the Class of 2024. Softball is my passion and has provided me with many opportunities, friendships, athletic and life skills. I have been playing softball since I was six and started Club ball at first year 14U.  I have been pitching since 8U and playing infield/outfield over the years.  As a pitcher, I have become a strong leader on and off the field, which also has given me a greater understanding of the game.  My goal is to play competitive softball at the college level with teammates and coaches that share the same work hard, play hard mentality.
