Gianna Torres '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gianna Torres. I am a Junior this year at Duluth Denfeld High School.  I play Soccer, Basketball and Softball.  I have been playing all three sports since I was five years old.  My favorite is Softball. I love the smell of leather gloves and the sounds of the cracks of bats hitting.  I have been playing Varsity for Denfeld since 8th grade. I started at 2nd base and then moved to Shortstop which is my primary position. I can help also, if needed, anywhere.  My biggest strength on the team is I am very coachable and love constructive criticism.  I believe that is the way you get better! I have speed in my throwing and baserunning. My batting is not too bad either! I keep my team motivated and like to have fun even in the serious situations. I would love to continue playing at a collegiate level and I thank you for your consideration!

Academically I have been on the Honor Roll for all semesters of high school. I have received the Honor D two years in a row and this year was inducted into National Honor Society.
