For my upcoming collegiate years I have a few goals. For example, some goals I have academically are undecided at the moment because I'm not sure what I would like to do. However, I do have a few athletic goals. For my birthday my mom and I took a trip to Oklahoma City to watch The Women's College World Series. Watching those girls play gave me inspiration to want to play their when I reach that level by working hard. I think I make a good candidate for a team because I am a utility player. I live in a small rural town in Northern Minnesota, so we don't have set position coaching. Due to this my position as catcher has been mostly self-taught. I feel that I may be different from other recruits because I'm a level headed person. Also I have a good sense of humor, this can be good in intense situations by keeping things light and enjoyable for others. Academically I have struggled, this last semester of school I did not pass my science class. To take care of it I'm attending summer school four days a week for two hours. With this experience I have learned that I need to ask more questions in order to make sure I understand everything that is being taught and work harder.
