Personal Statement
Ever since I started playing softball as a little girl, I remember never wanting to be done. I remember envisioning myself play on my high school varsity team and even at the collegiate level. Even when I was young, I had so many hopes and dreams for my softball career. Those hopes and dreams have not changed. I work everyday to better myself not only as a player, but as a person. I am always trying to make sure the dugout is never quiet, and if they are I try to keep them in the game. There is never a moment that you won’t hear me talking or cheering. I have held myself accountable to always trying to create a positive atmosphere on and off the field. I consider myself to be a leader, but can always take criticism and let others voice their opinions too. I’m not afraid to make mistakes, or be corrected on them. I hope to bring my positive go-get-it attitude and energy with me wherever I go.
