Abbie Sandage '23 Recruiting Profile

In my softball years, there has been many ups and downs. I’ve had to age up off of teams or I didn’t make the team. Instead of letting all of those reasons drag me down, it encouraged me to try harder and to never give up.  When I was told someone was better than me,  I strived my hardest to get better.  That was my goal. I want to play college ball for many reasons, I not only enjoy playing, but I want to prove to everyone who doubted me wrong and everyone that knew I would make it, proud. 

I’ve learned throughout the years that there is going to be so many people telling you “you won’t make it.” It doesn’t matter to me what they think. All that matters is how much time and effort you’re going to put in to make it happen. That’s what I drive to do. I’m just a girl making her childhood dreams come true.
