Jayden Gagner '23 Recruiting Profile

 I am going to start my personal statement with saying I am super proud to be here at this place in my life.  I am blessed to have a supportive family who shows me the importance of hard work and getting a good education.  

My education has always been my top priority.  I understand the sacrifices it takes with long hard practices and late night homework.  However, I am also a very determined person with high goals for my future.  

I have always strived to be a good role model for others.  I understand there are younger people who look up to me.  I enjoy spending time volunteering in my community such as umpiring little league baseball, assistant T-ball coach and clark fork river clean up.  

I work hard everyday to be the best I can be.  I don’t compare myself to others because I realize everyone has something special to bring to the field.  I am going to bring my personal best every time I show up, as my teammates will do the same.  That is what makes a winning team!   I feel communication with my team is just as important as motivation.  

I understand competing at a college level is much greater than high school level.  I will continue to work hard to reach any new goals I set.  I have always been very driven and set my goals high.  This way I know where I am headed and keep pushing forward.  

I am excited for this next chapter in my life and look forward to new experiences.
