Hannah Matthies '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to become a veterinarian.  During my college experience, I am hoping to play softball for all 4 years.  I am a good leader on the field, have a good field-presence.  I am a power hitter with a batting average of .508 and fielding percentage of 0.958 during this last summer season.  During my sophomore year, I beat the school RBI record with 32 in a season.  During the summer season, I batted in 35. I'm named the 2015 GNAC All-Conference All-Academics Team and recently broke the career record of RBI's as a junior.  I am a team player.  I also am an ASA certified umpire which makes me familiar with the rules and regulations.  I participate in softball, basketball, tennis and band while maintaining a 4.0 grade-point average.
