I started softball when I was about 8, and have loved the sport ever since. Actually, I remember when I first played and couldn't even throw the ball to first base, but that was solved with a little elbow grease. I enjoy playing this sport very much, and it's fun to grow and improve with the help of my coaches. Improving is my main goal whenever I'm practicing, and as long as today was better than yesterday, then I'll be happy with myself. However, I can get so involved that I could actually become frustrated with myself and then not improve very much at all, I've been working on that though and feel it has improved greatly. Playing softball in college is something that I strive for and hope to achieve with hard work.
In the classroom I make sure to keep my grades up with a 4.0 GPA, and I learn by getting involved. I like challenges and doing things that people didn't believe I could very well do. It's kind of hard for me to always be in one environment and doing the same thing everyday, because it makes me lose interest in whatever I'm doing. Over the past few years I have actually learned how to help myself to become interested and hope to continue to grow in the classroom, as well as on the field.
