Vanessa Bein '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Vanessa Bein. I am in the graduating class of 2026 at Robert McQueen High School in Reno, Nevada. I have a 4.6 GPA and contribute to my school by being an active member in leadership and the National Honor Society. During my high school freshmen season, I earned a spot on the Northern Nevada All League Second Team and the Nevada All-State Academic Team. During my sophomore season, I was a team captain, and I led the state in home runs and slugging %. I also was selected as the Nevada 5A All-Region Offensive Player of the Year. After finishing up my junior season, I was grateful to be a captain again. I was also fortunate enough to be named Nevada 5A All League First Team as a catcher, as well as Nevada All-State Academic Team.

I played baseball when I was 8 and 9 years old. I started travel ball when I was 9 years old and I currently play for Mojo Pikas 18u. My primary position is catcher. I also have experience in both infield and outfield. I am a consistent power hitter and look forward to every opportunity at the plate. I am a team player with a positive mindset and believe there are always ways to improve.

My dream is to attend college and major in Education and play the sport I love. I aspire to be a role model for young athletes and encourage them to take their sport to the collegiate level as well.
