Jillana Stevens '20 Recruiting Profile

    I have been playing softball since the 2nd grade. I took a year off when I was 12 because I thought that I didn't like the game; boy was I wrong. Taking that year off opened my eyes to my love for the sport. Since that year I have been playing anytime I can. Whether it is in my back yard hitting the ball into a net or team practice. Each and every time that I play I give my all. When I am playing the field my goal for each inning is to try my hardest to make sure no ball gets by me. I never leave a game with a clean jersey. I am always open to criticism. I want to make sure I am being the best player that I can be. The game has been a huge part of my life and I want to continue my career. I am a hard worker and strive for the best. This past year I had 3 quarters of straight A's. My GPA is a 4.0 and I am determined to keep it that way.
