Moving from a school with a very competitive softball program to one in it's development stage was an important realization moment in my life. I found myself stepping into the same role my senior captains on Scarborough Varsity Softball my freshman year. As a sophomore, I became the youngest captain in my school's history. I realized how important my role for Holderness Softball was and made my main goal to not only improve my team's skills but to show how much positivity can impact a game. My leadership on the team along with passionate teammates led us to playoffs for the first time.
In the classroom and on the field I have a passion for teaching. I would love to pursue Education along with English literature in college. Softball has helped me realize my gift of guiding lives through learning. In the past I have helped coach young softball players and recently I have also took up volunteer coaching for skiing. I feel most accomplished after I help someone learn something new.
