Hello Coaches,
My name is Emersen Poulin, and I am a 2024 C/3B from Salem, NH. I have played Varsity softball for Salem High School since my Freshman year, where I platooned as a 3B/DP. As a sophomore, I became the starting catcher for my team. I currently play travel softball for the NH Prospects organization.
What sets me apart from many of my peers is my work ethic in everything that I do. During high school, I continue to challenge myself taking all honors and AP-level courses. I am a multi-sport athlete, also playing on the Varsity Field Hockey team. I am a member of the Key Club at my school and work a part-time job at a local hospital. I work with my catching coach and hitting coach year-round to continue to improve my game.
I am the youngest of 3 children. Being the youngest child and watching my two older brothers work hard to become successful college student-athletes has helped me to see the amount of work and dedication that it takes to play a college sport while continuing to focus on excelling academically. My goal is to go to a college that has a strong reputation in the Health Sciences so that I can become a Physician Assistant while continuing to play competitive softball.
