Personal Statement

Hello Coaches, My name is Eva Grolljahn and I am a hardworking softball player. I am currently a junior at John Stark Regional High School in Weare, NH. I have been playing softball for about 10 years and I am starting my 3rd season of club softball. Since then, I have committed long hours year round to better my mindset and skills in order to become a greater athlete. I am not only a talented player but I know that I stand out among other softball players because I have great work ethic and motivation. One of the things I am most proud of is how coachable I am. I earned 2nd place in the nation on the 2022 Ryzer Tap Assessment with a Coachablility score of 94/100. For perspective, the average coachability score among high schoolers is 58/100. I also placed with a Composure score of 97/100, Growth Mindset 97/100 and Attention to Detail 92/100. I am very dedicated to softball and would like to play at the college level (D3) with the opportunity to play starting freshman year. I am hoping to find a small to medium sized school in the Northeast/New England area but I will consider all colleges. I am a very open minded person and would like to find a college that not only fits my athletic needs but also my academic needs. I value the student part of Student-Athlete by holding myself to the highest standards at school. Since my freshman year, I have held a GPA greater than a 4.0 which I have improved to a 4.17.  For college, I am primarily interested in colleges that offer degree programs in Athletic Training and Physical Education but I am also interested in Environmental Studies. Please check out my Instagram and Facebook for videos. Thank you for your consideration and feel free to contact me directly with any questions.

Eva

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
