Madison Doherty '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Madison Doherty. Many of my coaches and friends call me Maddie. I am a 2023 catcher, outfielder and corner infielder.  I am on New York Shock 18u and I catch and play outfield for them. I attend Ardsley High School in Ardsley NY. I play mainly outfield for them and catcher when needed. I am a very vocal player, always calling out next plays, letting my catcher know when someone is stealing etc. I see myself as a very versatile player that can play almost anywhere I coach needs. Not to mention my extreme passion and love for softball. All of my peers at school know that softball is something that I hold very high and love. They all believe that I will play at the college level, which motivates me to prove them right. Playing college softball has always been my dream, and I hope that I will be able to achieve that dream.
