Madison Coots '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal in life is to become a sports psychologist so that I can help young athletes mentally so that they can perform better physically. I have always had a desire to help people all throughout my life so with athletes mental health being a huge issue in the athletic world today I believe that I can make a difference by helping people at a young age. While studying psychology in college I also plan and hope to play at the next level by playing collegiate softball at any division level. What makes me stand out from other athletes I am a multi-sport athlete with playing softball, basketball, and competitively swimming. Playing softball has always been a passion of mine ever since I was 10 years old. While many of my teammates have been playing the game a lot longer than I have it didn't take me long to find the work ethic and perseverance so that I could be a varsity starter by my freshman year of high school.
