Nicole Rosner '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicole Rosner and I graduate in 2017. I am a utility player and I mostly play first base, outfield, and I pitch. I am a starter on my high school Varsity team.  As a sophomore, I started as an outfielder and I pitched.  We had an undefeated season until the sectional final game, and were ranked 6th in New York State Class A. I have been playing 18U travel softball since freshman year. I play first base, outfield, and I pitch for the Jersey Inferno Gold (Rosado) team. 

I help coach the Brewster High School Special Olympics basketball and track team. The team went to the L.A. Special Olympics World Games during the summer and won a gold medal. I also help and teach in a special education classroom during my free period several times a week. I have also been a member of Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society since I was a freshman.  In addition to softball, I am a starting middle hitter on the Varsity Volleyball team.  I am also a starting middle hitter for Warriors VBC. 

I have a 3.7 GPA and take all advanced classes. This year, as a junior, I am taking AP Language and Composition, Pre-AP Calculus, Pre-AP Chemistry, SUPA Psychology, SUPA Sociology, and Advanced Spanish IV.  I am not sure what I want to study in college yet, but I am considering majoring in Education.
