Kalyska Payne '20 Recruiting Profile

Being on a 19U softball team when i was only 13 years old and out pitching a college pitcher was what really sparked my interest in pitching and softball. I was about 9 or 10 when i first started playing softball, one day i asked my mom if i could play softball like her and that's when it all started. Throughout playing softball i have learned that anything is possible and if you put your mind to something you can achieve anything. i have realized that if i really want to get a scholarship i need to work hard at it and take the time and do it. I really would like to graduate with a advanced diploma from high school and get a bachelors degree because, that is what is required for me to learn for the force i want to go into.  I have not yet had any major problems get in the way of my goals but if or when they approach i will ready to deal with them and overcome them.  As a three sport all year around athletic player and being a universal playing in all three sports, i feel i have what it takes to be on your team!
