My goal is to attend college get my BSN in nursing and play softball at a high level of competition. I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old. I started to play competitive travel softball at the age of 10 as a second year 10U. I was with the Miss Shen organization through 12U when I left to become a member of the premier SC Hurricanes Organization. Our second year as a team we had a 42-7 and placing 2nd in the USSSA Nationals in Salisbury, MD.
I attend Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, where as a 8th grader I was on the Mod 9 team, my freshman and sophomore years I was on JV as the starting left fielder and batted second all 3 years of school ball I've played so far. I was voted team captain by my teammates during my sophomore year.
I began my softball career as a first basemen and outfielder. I now play exclusive outfield where my speed and eye for tracking have preventing runs to be scored. I love the challenge of chasing down a ball and making the throw to home to get the out, or holding a double or triple into a long single.
I am a team player who has a high level of softball IQ. I believe my knowledge of the game and speed is a huge asset to any team.
I am able to compete at a high level of competition and maintain a high GPA in the classroom. My drive followed by my hard work ethic helps me stay focuses on and off the field.
I hope to find the college that is the right fit for me academically and athletically where I can continue to push myself in the classroom and on the field.
