Kenzie Turner '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kenzie, my friends and teammates call me Kenz or KZ. I am a multi-sport athlete. I play softball for my school and a travel team. I was selected for Finger Lakes East All-Star First Team, 3 years in a row. I also made Honorable Mention for the All Greater Rochester region, 2 years in a row. In 2024 our school won the Finger Lakes East League. This year I will be playing 16u travel softball, varsity tennis, varsity girls wrestling and varsity softball. I am a RHP with 5 pitches (fastball, change up, curveball, drop and rise ball). I throw consistently 54-55 mph and my two most used pitches are curve and fastball. I believe speed is valuable and am working on increasing velocity. However, I take pride in my spin and movement. My primary position is pitcher, but I also play first base and my athleticism gives me the ability to play other positions in the field. I love playing and will go play any position I am asked to fill. Although, sports play a large role in my life, education is very important to me. I plan to major in diesel mechanics. When I'm not playing sports I enjoy spending time with family and friends, painting and hiking.
