Kenzie Turner '27 Recruiting Profile

I play Varsity softball for my high school team, last year as an 8th grader I was the starting varsity pitcher. I received the Finger Lakes East player of the week. I was also selected for Finger Lakes East All-Star First Team. In 7th grade I was pulled up and was the starting pitcher on the JV team. This year I will be playing 16u travel softball, varsity tennis, varsity track and varsity softball. I am a RHP with 5 pitches (fastball, change up, curveball, drop and rise ball). I throw consistently 53-54 mph and my two most used pitches are curve and fastball. I believe speed is valuable and am working on increasing velocity. However, I take pride in my spin and movement. My primary position is pitcher, but I also play first base and my athleticism gives me the ability to play other positions in the field. Although sports play a large role in my life, education is very important to me. I hope to major in engineering, exercise science or athletic training.
