Cassie McGrath '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been the starting pitcher for varsity since 7th grade. I am a 2017 graduate of Tuckahoe High School where I am an honors student. I have received many accolades on varsity including all league, all county, all section, and all state. I have also won 5 league championships and a section championship. I was on the Junction Girls '99 from 10U to 14U. I am now on the Ramapo Rage 18U Elite. We compete in top ranked college showcases along the east coast throughout the fall and summer. 

My primary positions are pitcher/1st base, but I am capable of playing any position a coach needs me to. 

I consider hitting to be my strength as a softball player. I hit for average with a great mix of power.  As a pitcher I have good velocity along with my ability to keep batters off balance with my off speed pitches, and movement of my pitches.

My goal for after high school is to play softball at the collegiate level and to excel academically and athletically at the college or university I attend. I plan on majoring in physical therapy. I believe that softball has taught me how to be a well rounded individual with the perfect idea of teamwork.
