Morgan Kosnik '23 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals include playing college softball while maintaining my high academic standards. I have always strived to play softball in college, and create bonds with my teammates. Along with this, I want to have a special college experience and help ready myself for my future.

My grades in school have always been very high. I currently have a ninety-seven overall average, and I am taking high school science and math classes, even though I am in eighth grade. 

I have been playing travel softball for five years, and have been a starting shortstop through it all. As of right now, I am playing on an older travel team (2nd year 14u). For school, I am also starting as a shortstop on the JV team, as an eighth grader. In addition to softball, I play volleyball for my school. 

I believe that what sets me apart from other recruits is my character. All my life, I have had a constant drive to better myself, whether that be academically, athletically, or just as a person. I can identify what I need to work on, and I will try my hardest to fix it. That being said, I am very hard working, I am very hard working, especially when it comes to softball. I try my best to be kind, helpful and motivating to my peers, friends, and teammates. I volunteer at my church (St. Gabriel's) and plan to keep volunteering at different organizations in the future. To sum it up, I will never stop trying to make myself a better person, and athlete.
