Isabella Marchini '23 Recruiting Profile

I will be a 2023 graduate at Hicksville High School located in Hicksville, NY.  I am interested in attending a college that specializes in physical education and health.  My GPA is currently 3.7.

My current positions are shortstop and 3rd base.  I am currently in the making of becoming a catcher as well.  My schedule for workouts is as follows:  Mondays/pitchers/catchers (Prospect Sports),  Tuesdays/Power hitting (Prospect sports),  Saturdays/Defense and Hitting (Long Island Sports Dome) and Sundays/Strength & Conditioning with extra hitting, (Prospect sports).  I also do private lessons for Catching and Hitting.  We will be continuing our workouts up until March and once our travel schedule is finalized, I would be able to forward all information.

I am on the Varsity softball team at Hicksville High School as well, positions are shortstop and 3rd.  This year I will be catching for the Comets, as the primary catcher.   I was awarded All Conference for 2022 for catching!

On a personal note, I am quiet, but outgoing, if that makes any sense! Playing softball has been a part of my life for the past 3 years.   Something I would bring to your team would be talent, passion for the game,  I am a team player,  leadership skills, picking up people when they are down  and organized.  What makes me different in the athletic department, I played baseball since the age of 5, I have been invited to the USA Baseball camps, was a Top 100 player, played in Cooperstown and was on travel baseball teams up until the age of 14.  I then decided to transfer to Softball.  I have a very good 3.7 GPA.  My goal and away from the diamond, would be to graduate and pursue my career in Physical Education and Health.  This year in my junior year, I have set up my schedule with the help of my guidance counselor for my senior year, so that heading into college,  I have the correct path.  I have made sure that my classes will adhere to my field of study.  Softball is a part of me and I think I would make a great candidate for you team.
