My name is Maia Gathercole and I am currently a sophomore  in High School.  I am looking to commit to a college where I can compete on a higher level while also working to meet my very ambitious academic goals.  Academically I excel. I am a straight-A student,  I am taking two AP courses this year, and I am on track to graduate early if I so choose.  Athletically I am unique because I'm a leader on and off the mound. I lead by example with my attitude, sportsmanship, and tenacity.  I'm an extremely fast learner and very coachable, which sets me apart.  I'm additionally involved in Model UN, school plays, and chorus. I'm a competitive, natural leader that would be a great addition to your team.
