This year, has certainly proved to be an uncertain time for everyone. But what remains certain is my love and passion for playing softball. I know that when my sophomore year ended and my junior year began, I am lucky enough to be able play softball with both my league and tournament teams.
As I continue to adjust to this new lifestyle of social distancing, I will remain patient in the process and put in the hard work for the sport I love most. I don't expect to always be perfect, but I will try my best, work hard and to listen to my coaches. Whether hitting or catching, I always keep the confidence and believe in myself and my teammates while continuing to have fun.
As a catcher and team leader, I let nothing get past me, whether diving, blocking, or using my entire body. I play first for my pitcher, keeping them confident and helping to make their pitches most effective. I love keeping my team aware and prepared for every situation and every upcoming play in the game. At each and every moment, I thrive to be a vocal and positive force that helps drives I and my team to be the best.
