Deanna Baldwin '18 Recruiting Profile

            Hi there,

           My name's Deanna Baldwin and I would love to be a college athlete. Playing softball has always been my favorite thing to do and having a softball coach for a father has given me the drive and passion to further my skills in the sport. I currently play three sports and participate in other extra curricular activities such as student government and National Honor Society. While being a member of many teams and clubs, I am still able to manage my time and keep an excellent grade point average. I believe that these qualities would make the transition into becoming a student-athlete at college much easier. I hope to be able to play softball at college whether I am a member of the school's team or an intramural team. When I was in the eighth grade, I was pulled up to the Junior Varsity level in order to pitch for my school and in my tenth grade year I was the starting pitcher for my school's varsity team. I am a very coachable and versatile player, and I can play any position including catcher.  I have gone to multiple softball camps and clinics in my life and I play on a summer club team that travels around the state.  I hope to be able to become a college athlete when I graduate from high school in 2018.
