Personal Statement

I am a 5'10 RHP from Pittsford NY. I also play first base and occasionally play second. Not only do I contribute defensively, I am also strong at the plate, batting fourth in the lineup for my travel team. This past school season, I was a DH as a freshman for my school‘s varsity team. I worked on my pitching in practices and scrimmages to prepare for being the primary pitcher for the 2025 season.
This past travel season I was the starting pitcher for my team. I pitched 92 innings and finished the season with 100 strikeouts and 90 runners left on base. I ended the season with a .393 batting average and a .548 slugging percentage. I have learned to become a positive force on and off the field, I am always cheering for my teammates and emphasizing the importance of teamwork. In past seasons I have learned the importance of contributing, whether on the field or cheering on the bench. I would like to continue my career at a larger/medium sized school on a team where I am able to contribute while challenging myself academically. I am just now starting my search to continue my career academically and in terms of softball. I look forward to learning more about the many amazing opportunities that are out there.
