Sophia DuBois '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophie DuBois, I am 16 years old and currently go to Sodus Jr/Sr. High School. I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old. It has always been apart of my life and something that I never get bored of. I have always been an OK player, yet it wasn't until last year (my sophomore year) that I started taking it seriously. In the fall of 2022 I tried out for rochester lightning and when I had met the players and coaches, I built an amazing bond and love for softball. I started off as a second baseman but currently have been a pitcher and have been working at it immensely. I hope to eventually make it to a D2 - D3 college. Until then I am working hard to better myself every single day

From the academic standpoint, school has aways been important to me. I have been in honors classes since I was in 8th grade and have maintained an above 95 average overall. I am very interested in pre-law and would like to continue my academic journey going to a college that I will grow and learn in.
