Andrea Bombace '15 Recruiting Profile

I'm a great contact hitter with a lot of power.  I love to hit in clutch situations.  when the game is on the line I want to be at the plate.  I have a high on base percentage, with low strick outs.  I am a very strong outfielder with a very strong arm for both outfield & infield.  I play 1st. base, right field & 3rd., but will play any position when needed.  I love and I'm very commited to playing softball, and I'm very excited and hopefull to someday play professionally for a college while persuing my education.  I am currently on Team Long Island 18U Elite, with Coach Angel Mangual, and have been with them now for 1yr. I was also selected to play for Top Prospects, with coach Jim Barsalona, this summer 2011.  I have also played travel softball now since the age of 7yrs. old, with the Hudson Valley Express, and then with the Lunachicks. As well as played with several local teams & with my Junior HS & this past year as an 8th grader, played on the Junior Varsity Team @ Roy C. Ketcham HS.  So to continue to play softball someday at the college level would be a dream come true for me.  Softball is my passion!
