Personal Statement

My name is Rebecca "Becca" White. I am a driven student-athlete that is looking for the opportunity to compete at the college level and earn my degree in Business.  I have participated in multiple sports both team and individually from softball to martial arts.   I have experienced many successes academically and athletically and I have also experienced some challenges in these pursuits.  I am  determined to excel.    I want to be part of a strong team culture that fosters development with a team first attitude and an engaged coaching staff.   

I am proud that our Cole Harbour softball team was from a small neighborhood in Canada and we could compete and beat the big city teams  in Canada and the USA.   Even though our opponents had more opportunities and access to  more resources, it showed me that with strong determination,  good teammates, and coaches focused on development - anything is possible.   I know that I can be an important student athlete for the right Program.
