McKenna Jordan '27 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing travel softball since I was 7 years old. Even at a young age I knew that my future was with the game. I've wanted to play in college for as long as I can remember.

I am great at putting pressure on the defense when I'm up to bat and I have great range when playing the ball on defense. I also have a very high softball IQ. When on and off the field I strive to be a good example and strong leader for my teammates and the people around me. I am very coachable and aim to be one of the hardest working players you will find.

I work hard year round to improve my softball skills. Along with playing on Team PA 08 Lynn all year round I also play up on a team for a high school summer league. This year since I am not in high school yet, I will also be playing on a 2027 multi-club team during the high school season. In addition to softball I also play volleyball, basketball, and run track for my school, while also snowboarding on the weekends for fun. All of these activities help me to stay in shape and make me a more well-rounded athlete.

In the classroom, I work hard to maintain a 4.0/4.0 GPA. I have been placed in all honors classes available and I take Algebra 1 as an 8th grader. Along with taking honors classes, I also received the President's Education award for Outstanding Academic Excellence for 2022. On top of improving my skills in softball, I also pass on what I know by helping and giving lessons to young athletes.

I would like to go to a college where I can continue to improve not only on the field, but also in the classroom. My ultimate goal is to find a college that is right for me and to play at the highest level of competition possible.
