Personal Statement
Hello,
I'm Suzanna but everyone calls me Suzy. Currently I am in the 12th grade. I've have an average GPA of a 3.6. I attend Brookside highschool and spend 1/2 of the school day at the allied health program at the JVS. I intend to finish my high school career with around 46 credit hours through Lorain County Community College. I have played 4 instruments and am semi-fluent in Spanish. I am in National Technical Honor Society and Co-President of my high schools student council.
Ever since I first stepped onto a diamond when I was 7, I've had a strong connection to softball. The sport itself differs from others because it is truly a one person and team sport at the same time. What I mean by that is, Every single person has to put in 100% to make to team as good as it can be, but you have to work together to accomplish your goals as a team overall. The sport has been a huge part of my family since I was born. Both my father and grandfather played and were actively in baseball, so of course me being the next in line had to play some type of variation of the sport. I've always had a natural talent in the sport, when I was younger it was my throwing length and velocity. Now in my opinion my hitting stands out most of all about me. I have had the highest batting average on all of my softball teams for the past 4 years. I take pride in my ability to put myself fully investing in the sport to be the best I can be.
I think I'm a good addition to your team because I bring spirit and hard work. I'm athletically different from other recruits because I am open to anything. I can play every position on the field and I can switch hit. In my opinion my strongest positions are pitcher, catcher and third base. I'm different as a character because I am a strong leader and like to help others. I differ academically because I want to exceed in anything and everything possible. My dreams have yet to stop and I hope to become one of the most memorable female figures in history. I am to be apart of Brookside High schools graduating class of 2019.
