Kelly McCord '16 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play softball in college. 1, 2, 3, NAIA; any division. I work hard to become the best athlete I can. I am motivated in both school and softball; I am in all honors/AP classes and carry a 3.7 unweighted GPA. I know how it feels to be an underdog, but I try as hard as I can to prove my worth. It has paid off in many ways; I would not have had the opportunities like playing on varsity as a freshman and get the highest batting average on JV with a .477 . I believe I am a great asset to any team. I always strive to be a leader and communicate with all of my team members. I play because I love the sport of softball and I wouldn't have it any other way.
