Hi coaches my name is Laura Holt and I am currently playing for the Brantford Bobcats as a Utility player. Over the past 6 years playing softball it has helped me grow both physically and mentally. The life experience that I have learned from playing the sport has made me to be a better person and taught me the true meaning of teamwork. For a team to be good it must be able to work together as a unit. From practices to games you realize that you are just a part of something bigger and that you share all a common bond that you love the sport.
My goal is to be able to continue my education and graduate with a degree in the healthcare sector while being able to continue playing the sport that I love to play. Some of the things that make me different is that I am a very versatile player having gained experience playing several positions and having a big heart for the game. My coaches tell me I am very coachable player and take everything that they say and apply it to the game giving 100% effort in everything I do. I have been able to meet amazing friends and hope to continue with my college team.
