Victoria Dupuis '18 Recruiting Profile

I'm a hardworking athlete who will do anything to win. I'm very competitive but I always maintain good sportsmanship. I have been told by many coaches that I'm very coachable and that I have a positive attitude that keeps the team spirit high. I'm a great team motivator, I'm very encouraging and I strive to lead by example. I'm very dedicated and hard working not only in softball but also towards my academics. Unfortunately, no high schools in my region offer softball as a school sport so I only play travel softball. I'm a very versatile player. I have played every position on the infield at least once this season. My favorite positions to play are catcher and 3rd base. I love being in pressure situations where the game is on the line. Many people say I play better under pressure. I always want to be in the play or in the batters box. In the classroom I have an overall 95% average. During my freshman and sophmore year, I finished with Principals List (90 and above average) and was ranked 5th out of 136 students in my grade. I look forward to the opportunity to play at the collegiate level and further improve my skills.
