Personal Statement
To me, softball isn’t just a sport it’s a life style. I’ve been playing softball for ten years and I’ve loved every bit of it, the successes and the failures. Every practice, game, and play is a challenge, but that’s what makes the game so interesting. Every season I strive to improve the mechanics and skills I already have along with the new ones I’ve learned. I am a utility player except for pitcher. My primary position is 3rd base and my secondary is 2nd base.
I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. I am a 2020 graduate from Canby High School in Canby, Oregon. A good, quality education is very important to me. I have had a 4.0 GPA for the past three years and would like to continue that throughout my high school and college careers. I am also a member of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) as of this year. I would love to peruse a career in law enforcement and have a law or criminal justice major. I also plan to be enrolled in the United States Army and serve for my country during my college career.
Everything I do is for the love of the game.
