Cydney Hess '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches! One of my major accomplishments as a softball player is that I had the opportunity to be on the 12u All American region 9 team in 2017. I was on the varsity basketball team, and the varsity softball team my freshman year of high school, and I also play on a Coed soccer team. I have played softball at the highest level for my age group since I was 7 Years old, and I believe I am a better person because of it. I have a great work ethic and I am constantly trying to be a leader on and off the field, wether that be for my teammates, my siblings, or my friends.  Because of covid I have been fully online for school, but I hope to go back soon. The best compliment I have received from most of the coaches I have worked with would have to be that I am very coachable, and eager to get better. I have wanted to play college softball for as long as I can remember, and when I get there my main goal would be that I want to have the highest batting average on not just my team but in the league.  As of right now I hope to either be a second grade teacher, or be involved in some sort of crime investigation for a living, which are two very different things but I find interest in both!
