Avery Burghart '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a fun and energetic person who loves softball! I have a bubbly personality and make friends very easily. I play softball on 2 different teams and am the starting pitcher on my varsity team at my high school, I made 1st team all conference as a freshman and as a sophomore and got over 250 strike outs in my freshman + sophomore seasons as a varsity starter.

I have played softball for the last 8 years and am a pitcher, 1st baseman and a utility player. I am a drop ball pitcher and have a lot of movement on all of my pitches. I am working on my velocity but already throw in the high 50s/ low 60s as a 16 year old. 

I hope to play college softball at a high level. I am a very fast learner and have near perfect grades. I am a very hard worker and apply myself to whatever task I have in front of my 100%.
