Jimiah Mcdonald '20 Recruiting Profile

I want to go to a college with a top rated softball team, and with an outstanding academic reputation.  I am currently interested in nursing or sports medicine, but will probably be an undeclared major for my first year of college.

While I have played soccer, basketball and softball since I was a little girl, my greatest passion in sports is softball!  I get along great with my teammates and coaches, and am always a team first player.  I am always totally focused when I am playing, and always give 100 percent.

I was a freshman starter on my varsity high school team, and the leadoff hitter.  I led my team in batting average (.485), runs scored (35), RBIs (34), Slugging Percentage (.848) and On-Base Percentage (.519) and tied for my team's lead with 7 home runs.  I received the following awards during my freshman season:

Varsity - 2017 Pennsylvania All-State Softball Team, Class 5A, First-Team Shortstop; 2017 Varsity MVP; 2017 PIAA Class 5A State Championship Runner-Up; 2017 Mid-Penn District 3 5A Champions; 2017 All-Sentinel (Carlisle, PA) Softball Team First Team; PennLive (Harrisburg, PA) 2017 Softball All-Star Team First Team

My other current stats not listed above are: Throws R 63.4 MPH, 20 Yard Sprint <2.80 Seconds.  I am currently working with a personal trainer and with my club coaches to improve on all of my current stats.

I work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field.  I am currently carrying a GPA of approximately 3.70, and am on my school's Honor Roll.
